iron is a chemical change because it cannot be turned back into the condition it was before rushing and melting of ice is a physical change because it can be changed again into is a form of ice

Explanation:

When two substance reacting together to form a new substance it is called chemical change.the rusting of iron is a chemical change because it is capable to combine with oxygen and form iron oxide.

The water(H²O) changes from gas to liquid to solid are physical change because all are still H²O..so,when the ice is melted it didnt involve any other substance and still H²O...
