To measure the length of a bent iron rod we can do following things-

• The first thing we can do is to restore the original shape of the metal rod and make it straight again.

Then we can easily measure the length of that straight rod with normal measuring tools.

• If we are not able to restore the initial shape of that rod,then we can simply take two measurements of the both sides of the bending point.

Then we can simply,add that two measurements in order to get a mostly accurate measurement of that rod.
