◇Required, 0.01 M of NaOH from 0.1 M stock sol.
For stock solution:
Let the volume of stock sol. be 1 litre.
Molarity = 0.1 M
Molarity = (moles of solute)/(liters of solution)
0.1 = moles/1
moles of NaOH = 0.1 moles
What volume of 0.01 M NaOH will have 0.1 moles of NaOH in it = ?
For 0.01 M NaOH:
Molarity = 0.01 M
Moles of NaOH = 0.1 moles
volume of soln = ?
