how will you prepare a slide without drying quickly

we should add some amount of glycerine on to the slide so as to protect the slide from drying we have to add glycerine because it is very soft and also make the slide soft so that this protects the slide from drying

Add 2 drops of Glycerine after staining it. We add Glycerine because it does not dry quickly as compare to water.
