For this, the Benzene will give out the Benzene with Br which will be in the presence of Br2/FeBr3.
Then the output will go through Mg ether which will give us Benzene with MgBr and then comes under the presence of dry ice and Co2.
This will form Benzene with C=O-OMgBr. On further reaction with H3O+ ion, we will get Benzene with COOH.
Then esterification will occur to give us Methyl benzoate.
