take a solid and try to compress it and I am 100% sure you can't so it is proved that solid cannot be compressed

but remember the solid is what

solid refers to a thing which is non compressible

and do not having intermolecular spaces ...

we can understand i.e solid i.e in the solid material the atoms already very close to each other,then some solid material can't be compressed.
