How will you prove that the gas evolved on reacting zinc with sulphuric acid is hydrogen?

zinc reacts with dilute  sulphuric acid to form zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas is evolved so this is a single dispacement reaction of a non metal by a metal therefore the zinc will react with sulphuric acid forming zin sulphate dissolved in solution and releasing hydrogen gas
