in case we want to filter out our preferred data in a long list,

we can search for our preferred value in the list.

For example, we first type a table as given in Pg 45 of your computer textbook, and in the AutoFilter drop-down menu of the

‘Building Name’, we type ‘Petronas’ in the Search box and click

OK. All the records with the Building Name starting with Petronas gets filtered.

Select the Data tab, then click the Filter command. Click the drop-down arrow for the column you want to filter. The Filter menu will appear. The Custom AutoFilter dialog box will appear.
