How will you separate mud and water from their mixture? Explain

Explanation:

We can obtain clear water from a sample of muddy water by the process of filtration. In this method we use a filter paper which is fixed in funnel. Then the mixture is poured on the filter paper. Mud particles being larger in size will remain on the filter paper whereas clear water will pass through it.

1)Take the mixture in a beaker and let it untouched for some time.

2)After sometime you will see seperated layers of mud and water.

3)At the bottom of the beaker there is mud which is settled down and upper layer is of water
