Hello friend...
Chalk powder is insoluble in water because it is a Carbonate compound.Due its property it can be easily separated from water.
It can be separated by following methods:-
1) Evaporation
We can simply evaporate the water so that Chalk powder is left behind.
2) Filtration
Filtration another way to separate this mixture. We can use filter paper so that water passes from filter paper and chalk powder remains up.
