how will you seperate the component of mixture of carbon tetrachloride and water

Hello there
CCl4 and H2O are immiscible means they don't form a mixture.
so to separate them if you shake water and CCl4 together and let the mixture stand, they will separate out quite quickly.

Anubhav0355: That's obvious....CCl4 is polar and H20 is non polar...and there is a rule which says like dissolve like
