separating strucked pans is not a difficult job.
Just do as follows.
1) Fill a sink with hot water
2) Then set the stuck bowls in the sink, just covering the bottom pan with the hot water. ( The hot water causes bottom pan to expand).
3) fill the top pan with ice.
4)Allow the pans to set for about five minutes and pry them apart with your hands.

Keep the two stuck stainless steel bowls in a large vessel of boiling water. Place the bowls such that the bowl under is fully inside the hot water. Fill the top bowl completely with ice cubes. Keep the bowls aside like this for some time.
The heat causes the bottom bowl to expand slightly whereas the cold makes the top bowl contract marginally. This forms a little gap at the contact point of both the bowls and makes it easy to pull the two bowls apart.
