Take different objects from your house like, wooden block , plastic bottles , metal wire , etc. But take other things except metal wire.

Now bring a container add boiled water in it .

And,add all your objects in it , after some time you will be able to see that only metal wire gets hot first .

So the question arises how does this happen ? Or why it is happening?

So the answer of this question is that the metal has conductive property that means it allowed heat ,as well as electric current TO FLOW that means that the metallic wire has fastly supplied the heat , because of it we feel metallic wire hot first.

YOU CAN TAKE 2 BEAKERS  FILLED WITH WATER AND A WOODEN BLOCK AND ONE WITH A COPPER WIRE....

HEAT BOTH BEAKERS AND AFTER A WHILE OBSERVE WITH A THERMOMETER THE TEMPERATURE OF THE WOODEN BLOCK AS WELL THAT OF THE COPPER WIRE.

THE TEMPERATURE OF THE WIRE WILL BE MORE....

                                      HOPE IT HELPED.....:)
