(17×11×2) + (17×11×5) [given]

taking 17 and 11 common

so this gives us (17×11)(2+5)

(17×11×7) is our number.

So, the number is divisible by 17, 11 and 7

and hence it is composite

as composite nos are those that have more than two factors
