how will you show that a magnetic poles always exixt in pairs??​

We know that the magnet has two poles north south and suppose if we break magnet it also attend the property of north and south poles and we slap know that similar poles repel each other and opposite poles attract each other. So this is major property of magnet then we can say that magnetic poles always exist in pairs
