Conductor:Those subtances that allows heat or electricity through them is called as a conductor.example:iron, mostly all metals
Insulator: Those substances that do not allow heat or electrocity to pass through.them is called.example:wood, plastic
EXPERIMENT TO SHOW THAT AN OBJECT IS A CONDUCTOR OR INSULATOR OF ELECTRICITY:
1.Take the object, connect a conducting wire from both the end of the object.
2.Connect a cell to one of the wire, and join a bulb through both the conducting wire.
3. If the bulb glows then the object is a conductor of electricity
4.If the bulb do not glow then the object is an insulator.

make a electrical circuit and make a cut on wire ...............put different material .....if the bulb glows then it is a conductor whereas of it not glow it is insulator
