For showing that gases are more compressible than liquids and solids you can take a basic eg. of daily home used things like the gas container whose gas volume can be increased by increasing the temperature and pressure. In the same way if you keep water in a bottle it takes up the shape of that container but if the capacity of the container is 1L you won't be able to put more water than 1L, and solids cannot be compressed and they can neither change the shape as the containers shape varies.
