Take a groundnut and A4sheet of paper and keep groundnut in the paper and crust open the paper and see the oily patch will be there which shows presence of fat in groundnut

Aim of the experiment:- To prove that groundnuts contain fats

Materials required :- groundnut ,brown paper ,table hammer .

Procedure:-Some groudnut kernels were taken and placed on a brown paper spread or a table .The groundnuts kernels were crushed carefully from and the paper was held towards light.

Observation:- A number of light greasy sportswear seen on the paper .

Inference:-the formation greasy translucent spots on the paper shows the presence of fat in groundnut kernels.
