To prove that iron is more reactive than copper, the solution of copper sulfate is taken. Some iron nails are added to it. Later, it is observed that a brown coating is formed on the surface of iron and the color of copper sulfate solution has turned to light green from blue. Reactive metals can displace less  reactive metals from their compounds in  solution or molten form.

Activity:

Take a clean wire of copper and an iron nail.  Put the copper wire in a solution of iron sulphate and the iron nail in a solution of copper sulphate taken in test tubes. Record your observations after 20 minutes.

From this activity, we can conclude that, Iron is more reactive than Copper.
