- Place this potted plant in sunlight
- After few hours of exposure to bright sun light.
- Test the leaf which is covered by black paper for the presence of starch
- Iodine is the indicator for the presence of starch in leaves
- we can observe that the leaf does not turn into blue black color.
- That means starch is not present in the leaf
