Hey there!!
If you search magnetic fields you will find that they start from one poleand making an arc end at the other end.But they really don't stop there.The field travels inside the magnet bar and comes out at the upper end.
This pic can clear you.
In such way we get two ends of a magnet and they can never be broken apart!!
