how will you show the evaporation is an endothermic process? explain with a help of two examples.
Answers
Answer:
evaporation is endothermic because water molecules must absorb heat from the surrounding to increase their kinetic energy. sweat is evaporates from the body by the help of sun
hope this helps you
Answer:
Evaporation is a endothermic process because surface water molecules take up the heat from the bulk water and gets evaporated....
In the case of earthen pot the water becomes cool due to the phenomenon of evaporation. The surface water molecules take the heat from the bulk water and gets its latent heat of vapourisation. Thus the surface water molecules gets evaporated and escape through the minute pores in the earthen pot. Hence leaving the pot water cold.
From this activity we can say that evaporation is a endothermic process as it needs heat energy.
