Materials required:-

Knife,Iodine solution,Food item(potato),Spatula,por celine plate

Procedure:-

Take. a fresh potato which is washed ,cleaned and dried.Peal of skin of potato

.Cut The potato into slices.

With the help of clean and dried spatula place the potato into clean and dried porceline.plate

.Add the dilute iodine solution on potato 2-3 drops

Keep the slide undiaturbed and observe the changes

Observation:-

There will be change in colour we can observe blue-black or black or dark violet colour in potatoes samples
