How will you test for the gas which is liberated when hydrochloric acid reacts with an active metal?

reactive metal:

Mg( magnesium)

gas:

HCl ( hydrochloric acid )

reaction:

Mg + 2HCl ----> MgCl2 + HE

hydrogen gas will liberate

the gas liberated is hydrogen which burns with a Pop sound in air with a pale blue flame this gas is a colourless and odourless gas which is neutral that it does not affect any kind of Litmus Paper or any universal indicator .
