hey mate

here is your answer

When  dilute hydrochloric acid reacts with

sodium hydrogen carbonate, Carbon dioxide

gas is liberated .We recognize the presence

of carbon dioxide by passing it through lime

water which turns milky or a white precipitate

of calcium carbonate is formed. ... So the acid

or base becomes dilute.

hope you got it

thank you

Heya friend !
___________

✒ The evolved gas will be Carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) .

✒ It can be recognized or tested by passing it through lime - water which will turn the lime water milky and the white precipitate Calcium carbonate ( CaCO3 ) will be formed which makes us understand that Carbon dioxide gas has evolved .
