How will you test whether a given rod is made up of iron or not?

Hey dear here is your answer..

You can check it by using a magnet ..

If the magnet attract the nail ,it means that it is made up of iron...

take a magnet .. if iron rod is there . then it attracted towards the magnet... if iron rod is not there then it not get attracted......

PreejaD: now is the nails a rod is made up of corporate or nikal then the magnet Can attract it but I wanted to know how we can know that it is only Iron
