Organizing of work in a traditional village, a factory and a call center

Though the nature of work may differ between a traditional village, a factory and a call center the successful completion of a task or work is about collective effort in all the three. Lets discuss how work is organised in each setup.

1. Traditional Village:

Usually in Traditional villages everyone will be known to each other and there will be a tinge of informality in their communication. There would be a person who will act as a head and will co-ordinate the work between the workers. He will provide instructions and will take care of their remuneration.

2. Factory:

In a factory setup the Supervisor will be the one who supervises the work of his subordinates. The supervisor will explain the process, give training and will be updating the subordinates about the output and expectations. The supervisor will communicate to the subordinates about the company policy and procedures.

3. Call Center:

A call center setup primarily gives importance to the clients. The team leader and managers clearly explain the goals and expectations of the company to the team members and expect them to deliver desired results. The team members are rewarded for the skills and also proper emphasis is given on team work.
