bile juice is alkaline and contain salts which help to break the fat present in the food and convert acidic food into alkaline

so, if bile duct is completely blocked then :

1.acidic food which comes from stomach does not make alkaline so that pancreatic enzyme cannot act on it

2. bile salt break the fat present in the food into small globe which is not possible after blocking.
