How would I solve: 5x=2x-8 Please help me

⇒5x-2x= -8
⇒3x = -8
⇒x=-8/3

So, we will shift 2x from RHS to LHS,

So, we will get it as,

=5x=2x-8\\=5x-2x=-8\\=3x=-8

=x=\frac{-8}{3} \\

Hence, value of "x" in above equation will be \frac{-8}{3}.
