Answer:

Increasing pressure leads to decrease in the inter particle distance between the molecules due to lack of space. Lowering the temperature decreases kinetic energy of the particles and hence change in state is observed.

Answer: If we increase the pressure and decrease the temperature ,

a) The distance between the particles get lesser and lesser and it may change into liquid state.

b) In gaseous state the particles have lesser force of attraction but if they are compressed the force of attraction increases which may change it into liquid state.

c) In gas the particles are loosely arranged but during this compression process they become tight and change their state into liquid.
