For a gas, Pressure is directly proportional to the temperature,i.e., P α T.
It means that, with the increase in pressure the temperature of the gas will also rise and vice-versa, provided that the volume of the gas is constant. This law is called Charle's law.
According to this law, if P1 and T1 are the initial pressure and temperature of a gas and P2 and T2 are the final pressure and temperature of the same gas respectively, then:-
P1/T1=P2/T2
=>P1xT2=P2xT1
This is the relationship between the pressure and the temperature of a gas.
