Actually depends on other settings, like the rotation of earth around itself and position of the axis of rotation of earth or in other words orientation of cubic earth relative to sun, and the angle between the axis of rotation of earth around itself and sun. even the place on earth which you are taking about. I assume poles are considered to have 2 seasons. cold and warm, and seasonal fluctuation of weather on equator is although almost negligible. also consider the fact that even with a spherical earth, seasonal fluctuations of temperature happens gradually and not suddenly
