Hello,
I would share basic things to take care before and during Skype Interview
Keep your profile professional.
1st thing your interviewer will see is your profile or Skype user name. Keep it professional and simple. Have a simple clean passport size photograph on your profile page.
Dress the way as you are for face to face.
This not only gives you confidence, it also reflects your personality and your preparedness for interview
Prepare your surroundings.
Choose a quiet place to interview with a decent clean backdrop so that you can be the focal point on the screen. Remove anything distracting behind you and keep it neutral.
Close all other programs on your computer
All programs that shows notifications should be closed or logged off Before your interview, make sure all other windows on your computer are closed. It will speed up your system also and have plenty full of resources as well.
Don't be afraid to help yourself with sticky notes or a copy of your resume handy when you interview. A benefit of having a Skype interview is that you can have a cheat sheet in front of you so that you don't have to memorize everything you want to mention.
Look at the camera, and not at the screen.
This will help you make an eye contact with the interviewer
Avoid interruptions.
If you are interviewing from your home with many people or pets, be sure to let everyone in the house know that you will be in an interview during the period.
Keep interviewer is engaged.
Pause every once in awhile and make sure your interviewer is engaged in what you are saying.
All the Best !
