Explanation:

  • In the Cartesian Coordinate system, X and Y represent the reference lines in a graph.
  • In this system, x - axis represents the horizontal axis whereas y axis represents the vertical axis and such a graph is considered to have an XY plane.  
  • A graph whose XY coordinated are interchanged with each other will most probably have similar graph, except the coordinates will change to YX and the graph will take a 90° clockwise rotation.
