How would the horizontal range change if the initial velocity was doubled?

if initial velocity is double then range become 4 times the original range

Horizontal range = u² sin²θ / (2g)

From above fromula
Horizontal range = (Initial velocity)²

So, if initial velocity is doubled then horizontal range will be quadruple.

∴ Final Horizontal Range = 4 × Initial Horizontal Range
