A vacuum can support 10m of water, so perhaps the water will drain out of the pipe until it is10m above the height of the water outside of the pipe, leaving a big near-vacuum behind. This would explain why the Grand Canyon's pipe has such a large number of valves.

Ans》 A vacuum pipe has only the capacity to support 10 m of water......
When the water goes over the 10 m capacity , it gets drain out ....Thats what the reason behind drainage of a sealed pipe......
