the Himalayas are geologically young and recently formed mountain range or landform as they were formed due to scattering of Indian sub continent from indo-australian continent because of volcanic eruptions and as Indian sub continent came to North from South,it caused folding of tethys sea and forming of rised landform due to tectonic shifts or movements which we call "The Himalayas ". the Himalayas are called young fold mountains as every year due to tectonic shifts or movements the Himalayas are rising.
Thus as per the above information i agree that the Himalayas are most recently formed mountain range or landforms.
