Answer:The circular muscles of the mouth enable the food to be pushed into the oral cavity and to be moved around.As the food cannot be swollowed directly the teeth grind,chew and shred it.This process is called as mastication.For this purpose the surface muscles of the jaw up,down forward and backward during food mastication.
