Answer:

Unfortunately Griffin was a scientist of great potentiality. He invented scientific ways of making human beings invisible. But instead of for his personal benefit and fulfilling his desire, first he used it to take revenge against his landlord who turned him out of the house. He set fire to his house which is not at all acceptable. Then he used it for feeding and clothing himself at no cost, then stealing money at clergyman's study room, then physical harrassment done to the landlord and his wife and also made the constable unconscious coming to arrest him. Under all these circumstances, Griffin cannot be regarded as a scientist in true sense of the term.
