Answer:

Griffin was an eccentric scientist who discovered a rare drug to become invisible. Griffin was a great scientist but had an evil heart. He used his power of invisibility to harm people.

Griffin had no conscience, he was callous towards people and simply self-centered. He had no respect for humanity. After becoming invisible he committed one brutal act after another, not because they were necessary for his survival but because he enjoyed doing them. He stole money from the clergyman's house, set his landlord's house on fire just because he disliked him, stole from shops, and other people. When everyone asked him about his secret, he hit them and escaped by becoming invisible. Griffin was a lawless person who soon became a wanted criminal.

If only he had maintained his morality, ethics, and conscience, he would have been a great scientist as well as a great human being.   He should imbibe empathy, kindness, helpfulness and honesty to become a famed scientist. He could have used his discovery for the benefit of society and his country.
