we can assign the symbol of an element by the first letter or any letter

Firstly by looking at their initial letters
Many if have same initial letters go for their second letter
Thirdly u can name them by using their Greek names...Yet rules need to be applied there too...
Like for silver it is Ag from Greek name Argentina....
