How would you collect evidence to test the theory that male frogs only attract females on the same species?

We can see that in the last few years no new species of frogs have come up and thee reason is due to lack of cross-sex.....This is the evidence.

"In the early spring season, the female frog is swollen with their spawn, to which the male frog lay its fertilization.

These strong purring croaks are set to intimidate other male frogs in the vicinity and attract the attention of females.

The male frogs often grow pad on their legs that eventually help them to get the females frogs in an amplexus.

It securely secures them in the correct position for fertilizing.
