how would you confirm that a colourless liquid given to you is pure water?

by pouring in it chlorine tablets or passing it through ozone gas

Hey dear first of all remember that every colourless liquid is not a water....

For eg.acetone is a colourless liquid but it is not a water....

In order to know that if it is water or not we can put litmus paper into it .

if the colour of red and blue litmus remains unchanged then it is water..
