ANSWER

pure water has a fixed boiling point of 100℃ under standard atmospheric pressure. This fact can be used to confirm that a colourless liquid given to us is water as follow: we take the colourless liquid in a distillation flask fitted with a thermometer. Let us heat the flask with a gas burner till the liquid starts boiling point if all the colourless liquid distills over at the same temperature of hundred degree Celsius, without leaving behind any Residue in the distillation flask it will be pure water.

HOPE IT HELPS

THANKS

hère is your answer mate.....

If we are given a liquid and we need to test it weather it is pure water or not, then using litmus paper putting some drops in litmus paper of the liquid, if the paper turn green then the liquid is water.
