How would you convert the following
formic acid to formaldehyde​

When formic acid is warmed with concentrated sulphuric acid, it decomposes to CO and H2O. CO formed in the above reaction when reacted with hydrogen in presence of catalyst, gives methanol. Oxidation of methanol with potassium dichromate gives formaldehyde
