Nelson mandela,in full name 'Nelson rolihlahla mandela'.He was born on July 18, 1918 mvezo in South Africa. His parents are Noqaphi nosekoni and Nkosi mphakaniyiswa gadla mandela. He was a black nationalist and 1st black president of South Africa. A south african freedom fighter and a political prisoner for 27 years. After the death of his father in 1927, 9 year old Mandela was adopted by Jongintaba dalindyebo a high ranking thembu regent who began grooming his young ward for role within the tribal leadership..In 1993,mandela and president de Klerk awarded the Nobel peace prize for doing work toward dismantling apartheid in South Africa. In 1994 he joined in ANC African National Congress,where he help to form ANC youth league. He married two times and then divorced.
