The Nightingale is truly a selfless creature who never ever thinks about herself. She practices for six hours and doesn't care about her well being because the Frog recommended more practice for her. Sleep deprived as she was, still, she sang the same night and performed well. She works hard to pay for the tuition money of the Frog and never complains about her discomfort. Moreover, she let the Frog keep the money that came from tickets and never cribbed about her share. When, towards the end, the Frog suggests her to improve her singing and bring passion, she tries to follow him sincerely, so much so that her vein burst and she dies. She was indeed a selfless soul.
