we can distinguish them by taste and texture. ice will feel solid and be very cold and will taste like water . ice cream will be tasty and semi -solid and will also be cold.

I think only ice is better.bkz ice cream has some types of medicine(like they use to make ice stronger by salt and like that things) so salt is harmful for eyes.so we should use ice.
