As per kepler's 3rd Law of planetory motion,

(Time Period of Planet)^2 = (Radius of orbit of Planet)^3

Hence, more is the radius of orbit of a planet, more will be its time period. Since, Earth has a time period of 1 year and Jupiter and Saturn are farther from the Sun than the Earth, their orbital radius is greater than the Earth. Hence, their time period is greater than a year.
