The ITCZ is occurred in the following way -

• The ITCZ or the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone is a low pressure belt near the equatorial region and this region faces an almost windless weather conditions.

• This is occurred because the solar heat emission increases the temperature of the air and the hot air starts rising in the upward direction. (Because hot air is light weight)

• This upward facing movement of the wind, creates a wind deficiency as well as the low pressure zone.

• In this way,the ITCZ is occurred.
